You can now get the LG G5, its B&O DAC module, B&O earphones and its camera add on for under £400
The LG G5 was comfortably one of the best smartphones of 2016. Sadly for LG, it looks like the general public haven’t met it with the same enthusiasm we did though, as it has taken a number of price cuts since release. This latest one, from Argos, is simply ridiculous.
Let’s start off with what makes the LG G5 unique (or semi-unique, now): its modules. You can plug in modules to make the phone better, be it a camera module, or a DAC audio module.
Originally the phone alone retailed for £500, but Argos are now selling the handset, its Bang & Olufsen DAC audio module, the Cam Plus camera add on and a pair of B&O earbuds for £399.95. Argos claims the accessories bundle alone is worth £327.99 (I’d take that with a small pinch of salt, but it’s still a nice set of freebies).
Buy the LG G5 bundle from Argos
There’s no question that’s a good deal, but if you prefer to pay on a monthly basis, then The Smartphone Company have got an equally impressive deal for you: the LG G5 and B&O audio bundle, on Three for £27 per months with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 8GB of data, with no upfront cost.
Whichever deal you consider, the LG G5 is a strong performer. As Jon wrote, when he reviewed it: “the LG G5 is still a great smartphone, and if you’re upgrading from a two-year-old model from any manufacturer, you’ll love the speed boost and camera quality it brings with it, and especially that wide-angle snapper. It’s a five-star smartphone, then, but it isn’t quite the best.”
For its current price, it’s an absolute steal.
