Fantasy football start/sit advice Week 13: What to do with DeSean Jackson

Jackson had season-high receptions in Week 12 without a deep-ball catch. We look at the fantasy implications.

DeSean Jackson had a season-high eight catches for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12; however, he was held under 10 yards per catch for the first time this season. Jackson caught eight passes for 60 yards in the loss to division rivals Atlanta Falcons. He averaged a season-low 7 1/2 yards per catch in the outing.

Jackson hopes to end a streak of one good game followed by a bad game when his team plays the Green Bay Packers Sunday. The 10-year wideout has been streaky the last four games, catching two balls for under 30 yards in Weeks 9 and 11 then having the best game of that span in Week 10 vs. the New York Jets, with six catches for 82 yards. The Packers offer a great matchup for Jackson as their secondary is coming off a terrible game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy impact: Jackson should be able to avoid a slide against the Packers in Week 13. The Packers offer an easy matchup, and he will have starter Jameis Winston back under center. He should be able to get back to his big playmaking ways with ease Sunday and with an average of seven targets per game, he will have ample chances to do it.
