We’ve seen loads of iPhone 8 dummy models surfacing lately, but most Galaxy Note 8 leaks have been in digital render form – until now.
A series of images depicting what appears to be a dummy model of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been posted onto China’s Weibo social media site. This gives us a closer-than-ever look at what the Galaxy Note 8 might look like when it launches later this month.
Check it out:
Before we dive into the details, it’s worth noting that we can’t verify these images as legitimate. And although they seem to match up with previous leaks and rumours, it’s still entirely possible that this is a hoax. As such, take the images with due caution.
That said, even if this is a hoax, it’s still arguably a solid representation of what we’re expecting to see from the Galaxy Note 8 anyway. For instance, as expected, it appears Samsung has carried over the slim-bezel ‘Infinity Display’ design we saw from the Samsung Galaxy S8.
It also appears that the rumours of a dual-camera module being embedded on the back were true. The Galaxy S8 skipped over this feature, which was unfortunate given that other devices – like the Huawei P10 and iPhone 7 Plus – had already adopted it. So it’s no surprise that Samsung seems to be following suit with its powerhouse Note series.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 at a dedicated Galaxy Unpacked launch event on August 23 in New York City. We’ll be updating you with news live as the event happens, so stay tuned to Trusted Reviews.
