Overwatch Update Adds 312 League Skins

Blizzard is officially kicking off the first season of the Overwatch League on January 10 with three different matchups between teams comprised of the top players in the world. To commemorate the occasion, Blizzard has released an update for Overwatch today that makes the previously revealed League skins available for all players.

Obtaining League skins in Overwatch isn’t as simple as opening a loot box, however. On the contrary, players purchase League skins directly using League Tokens. League Tokens are a new form of in-game currency in Overwatch that players can buy in bundles. The cheapest bundle is $5, and will net players 100 League Tokens, which is enough to buy one skin in the game. The most expensive bundle, meanwhile, costs $100 and comes with a whopping 2,600 League Tokens to spend.

Check out all of the Overwatch League Skins right here:

Anyone hoping to get their hands on a League skin for their favorite team and character will be able to do so without actually buying any League tokens. Any Overwatch player that logs in between now and February 13 will be gifted with 100 League Tokens, which is just enough to buy one League skin.

This new update for Overwatch does more than just add the new League skins to the game, however. It also addresses a number of bugs, including one that prevented Doomfist’s Rocket Punch attack from destroying objects and another where loot box rewards weren’t properly displayed.

The new update doesn’t add the Mercy and Junkrat nerfs that are currently being tested in the PTR, but it does make some character changes. For example, Zenyatta can now see the health bar of both enemy and ally targets when he uses his Orbs of Discord and Harmony, and Ana players can now customize the amount of aim assist they receive when targeting teammates.

Players can test these changes and check out the League skins as soon as they download the latest update for Overwatch.

Overwatch is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
