In his latest video, Tiger Woods, clad in his Sunday red and black, hits a driver and tells us he’s ‘making progress.’
Tiger Woods appears to be on the comeback trail for good — and he’s eyeing a Sunday round whenever he does return to the PGA Tour.
In his most recent communique from rehab central, Tiger, dressed in his signature final-round red and black, posted on social media a video of himself taking a pretty good cut with a driver.
Sunday’s “making progress” vid — not to be confused with February 2016’s “progressing nicely” footage — is quite a step up from way back in September when he was confined to hitting 60-yard shots, or even his announcement earlier this month that he was swinging an iron:

The most recent broadcast, designed, it would seem, to keep his fans and followers engaged in his future triumphant return, is quite a departure from the remark he made during the Presidents Cup when he said his playing career might well be over.
So, yeah, looks like the 14-time major champion is preparing to give it another go.
Woods, 41, last played competitively in February at the Dubai Desert Classic. After posting an opening-round 77, Tiger withdrew from the event the next day and underwent his fourth back operation in in April.
